Terms of Service
One Dollar Planet
Last updated: 17 October 2026
These Terms govern your use of One Dollar Planet — the website at onedollarplanet.app and everything on it (the “Service”). The Service is operated by IE Sergei Filkov — Sergei Filkov, an individual entrepreneur (sole proprietor) registered in Georgia (“we”, “us”).
By using the Service, creating an account or making a purchase, you accept these Terms, our Privacy Policy and our Refund Policy.
1. The Service
One Dollar Planet is an interactive map of projects — apps, websites, games and other products — on a planet, with a catalog, project pages and rankings. Authors add their projects and place them on the planet; visitors explore them, follow countries and give stars.
The paid options are: a point on the planet; a logo in place of the point, with a place in the catalog and a page of its own; a point in more countries; a whole country for a term; a surface for a featured country; a beacon over a point; and Featured, a badge with first places in the catalog, in search and among new projects. Current prices are on the Pricing page, and every option is explained on the Support page.
2. Accounts
You sign in with a link sent to your email or with Google. Keep access to your email and your Google account secure: whoever controls them can use your account.
You must be at least 16 years old to have an account. To make a purchase, you must be old enough to enter into a binding contract where you live, or have the permission of a parent or guardian.
Give accurate information, and use one account per person. You can delete your account at any time in your dashboard’s settings; places that are still running end with it, and unused time and credit are lost.
3. Your projects and content
You keep all rights to the projects you add and to their content: names, logos, descriptions, pictures, videos and links.
You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, show, copy and adapt that content — for example, to resize a logo or make a card from it — to run and promote the Service: on the planet, in the catalog, on project and country pages, on cards that can be shared, in emails and on our social media accounts. The licence ends when you remove the content, apart from copies already shared and backups kept for a limited time.
You confirm that you own or may use everything you add, that it describes your project truthfully, and that it breaks no law and no one’s rights.
Projects are reviewed before they appear. We don’t accept adult content, gambling, crypto token sales and investment schemes, drugs, weapons, pharmacy or pills, scams or fakes, hate or violence, or a copy of someone else’s product (what we accept). We may decline, hide or remove a project that breaks these Terms, and we tell its author why.
4. Purchases and payment
Our orders are processed by our payment partner, an online reseller that is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. It runs the checkout, sends your receipt, handles tax and processes refunds.
Prices are in US dollars, shown on the Pricing page and again before you pay. Where tax applies, our payment partner adds it at checkout on top of the price. Its buyer terms, shown at checkout, also apply to your purchase.
Places on the planet are digital services. A place starts as soon as it is paid — or, for a country booked after periods already sold, at the start of its own period. Before paying, you confirm that you want it to start right away and that it is not refunded once it has started.
A point stays on the planet for one year from the day it is placed, and can be kept for another year by buying that year before or after it ends. A logo stays on the planet for as long as the Service runs and the project keeps to these Terms (if we ever close the Service, see section 12). A point placed before points became yearly also stays for as long as the Service runs. A country, a surface, a beacon and Featured run for the term you buy. No term renews by itself: nothing is charged again unless you buy again.
A country can be booked for up to five periods after the one running now. A booked period starts when the one before it ends; if that one ends early, the next starts early, and still runs its full length.
5. Credit
If a paid place cannot run or cannot be seen through no choice of yours — for example, a project is declined in review before its booked period, or a booked country cannot be kept — the value of the time not provided becomes credit in your account. Credit pays first for your next purchases. It has no cash value, cannot be transferred and is not paid out.
6. Refunds and chargebacks
Refunds are handled by our payment partner under our Refund Policy. If a payment is refunded or charged back, the places it bought are removed from the planet.
7. Stars, medals and rankings
Stars, medals, rankings and day streaks are part of the planet’s game. They have no money value, cannot be bought, sold or exchanged, and we may correct them or take them away if they were gained by abuse.
8. Acceptable use
Please don’t:
- break the law, or use the Service to send spam or harmful code;
- copy or scrape the Service or its data at scale;
- try to get into accounts or systems that are not yours, or interfere with the Service or its security;
- create fake accounts, or manipulate stars, rankings or figures.
9. Our service
The Service — its design, planet, code, text and brand — belongs to us or our licensors. Map data and some components come from others under their own licences (third-party notices).
We may change, add or remove features. We work to keep the Service available, but we don’t promise it will run without interruptions or errors.
Projects link to their own websites and stores. We don’t control them and are not responsible for their content, products or practices.
10. No warranty
To the extent the law allows, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. We don’t promise any number of views, clicks, visitors or sales from a place on the planet.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it arose.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
12. Suspension and ending
You can stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or close an account, or remove projects, if these Terms are seriously or repeatedly broken, or if the law requires it. If we ever close the Service, we will tell authors by email at least 30 days before it closes, and their places stay on the planet until then.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Georgia, and the courts of Georgia have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and may bring a claim there.
14. Changes
We may update these Terms. The date at the top shows the latest version; we tell signed-in authors about significant changes before they take effect. Using the Service after that means you accept the new Terms.
